LispStat Programming Examples

ViSta's Statistical Graphics

ViSta includes several statistical graphics not available in LispStat. These include:
  1. A completly new Boxplot object (which also does dot plots and parallel coordinate plots)
  2. A completely new Histogram object which also does Frequency Polygons and Bar Graphs (based on algorithms developed by Jan de Leeuw and Julian Bond); and a Mosaic Plot (based on work by Michael Friendly and code by Ernest Kwan).

These notes will present the techniques for using these new graphics. The notes are in preparation.
